Hi, My name is Zeus!
American Bulldog For Adoption in Texas. I am a fabulous, funny and friendly American Bulldog. I am 6 years young, very healthy, neutered and up to date on all my shots. I am looking for a family to shower with affection. Someone who can spend lots of time with me ? playing, snuggling, fetching, going for long walks, watching dog movies and generally reveling in the dog/human bond.
I recently moved to Texas from Michigan with my owners, who are retiring. They love me dearly, and have realized that the recent changes in their lifestyle are not the best for me. I used to have a large home with a nice, big yard to play in ? now I live in an apartment. They are doing a lot of traveling, too, which leaves me spending just too much time without them. They want what is best for me, and that is a loving family to adore me.
If there is one thing I am really good at, it is making you feel appreciated. I love to make you laugh, and have some really funny things I do that always make my owners chuckle. My ?bedtime dance? being one of them. I love to play ?hide and seek? with treats around the house, and enjoy playing with children as well.
If you can offer me a loving home where someone is home most of the time, and strong leadership (I am a bully, after all!) ? as well as a nice, fenced yard to play in, I will be your loving, devoted companion. My owners would very much love to keep in touch with us, too.
I will bring with me all my dog stuff, including my bowls, bed, crate, leash and collar, toys ? and the sincere gratitude and friendship of my owners. I can?t wait to wow you with wiggles and ?bully? my way into your heart.

Zeus?s Personality
Zeus is a sweet, loving, loyal, love to cuddle and be by your side dog. He loves going on long walks, riding in the car and just hanging out with his ?people.? He has been around our young grandchildren and other dogs and it has been a good experience. He likes to talk to us a lot usually when he reminds us it is time to go out to,potty, play, or eat. We have a new game for him where we hide small pieces of treats around the house for him to find. He loves the challenge and seems very happy to play.
Zeus?s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
He loves squeaky toys to play with and nylon bones to chew on. He has always had Iams dry dog food and likes it when we add a little rice or egg on it. Walks and riding are his favorite things to do, but he does like it when we throw his toy for him to fetch.
Zeus?s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
We think that Zeus would be happy with someone who loves dogs and has experience with bully breeds and dogs in general. He will be best with a family/ couple that does not leave him all day and can give him lots of time and love. He has occasionally displayed fear around some men and all of us have been trained on how to help him meet new people. If he needs correction it needs to be gentle but he needs a strong alpha leader so he feels secure in all situations.
